School run

so the day started at 6am with the ringing sound of the alarm on my iPhone closely followed by the sound of 3 young boys getting ready for school. i looked our the windows to see a very cold -4 morning complete with the customary ice over everything thanks too our good mate Jack Frost.

my thoughts turned to the forthcoming school run soon i would be out there warming the car up and dimisting the windows while standing there with the scaper in my hand clearing jacks hard work off the outside of them said windows.

now with them all clear all i have to do is make my way along the 5 mile drive to the school, there is the normal traffic i have become custom to on this daily drive. but now my thoughts turn to just how bad the british driver is and just how stupid some folks can be.

everyone is in a hurry not me i have left with plenty of time and in fact when i do arrive i already know i will be at least 15 minutes early, see what i do is leave the house in the morning with plenty of time to spare just case there is a problem on the route. but there are some right silly folks out today there’s some who think that they can see right the ice on the windows and either could not be bothered to or it was just too cold to scape the ice from there windows some haven not got working heaters as they have all the windows misted up insode the car. now i don’t know what it is with the drivers in the uk, but they all seem to think they are the most important person on the road, and that their journey is much more important than yours.

they all try to push their way along the road attempting to get into the smallest of gaps, forcing you out onto the oncoming traffic or pushing you into the path and curbside. then there’s the ones who just try to get a free ride to work by sitting in your boot or at least it seems that way.

these people all they had to do was set the alarm a little earlier in the morning and get out on their drive to work just 10 minutes earlier and clear their windows and hay, they would get there on time without the need for the bad driving.

so my thought for today is this…. you will be there when your there, not a minute earlier not a minute later but when you get there.

plan your day tonight from you are going to wake in the morning….
